Third maneuver completed

According to SpaceIL, Beresheet's third orbital maneuver was performed successfully. The main engine was activated for 152 seconds and spacecraft's apogee got raised to ~270000 km.

Second Maneuver completed

According to SpaceIL, Beresheet's second orbital maneuver was performed successfully at the perigee. The main engine was activated for about 4 minutes and spacecraft's apogee got raised to ~131000 km.

delta-V of the maneuver is ~211 m/s, so about 38 kg of propellant has been used and about 392 kg are remaining.

Orbital Maneuver Postponed

According to SpaceIL, the spacecraft computer reset unexpectedly during a pre-maneuver phase, and the maneuver got cancelled automatically. The rest of the systems are working well and engineers are analyzing the situation.

Yoav Landsman (@MasaCritit), Senior Systems Engineer at SpaceIL, said that the reset is a recovery reaction initiated by the main software to ensure the safety of a maneuver and not a failure.

First orbital maneuver completed

According to SpaceIL, Beresheet's first orbital maneuver was performed successfully at apogee. The main engine was activated for 30 seconds and the perigee of the spacecraft got raised by ~300km. The next maneuver is scheduled for February 25th, 2019.

delta-V of the maneuver is ~28 m/s, so about 5.3 kg of propellant has been used and about 430 kg are remaining.

In-Orbit Tests indicate an issue with startrackers

SpaceILTeam has been conducting many In Orbit Tests during the past few hours, and have identified high sensitivity to blinding by the sun rays in the star trackers, this issue is being checked.
